Diva Inspiration Challenge #87

I don't typically do challenges, but I saw this one and knew the stamp set I wanted to use. Upsy Daisy- which is in the IBC on page 95 for $18.95. The inspiration picture was the below picture:

And this is what I came up with:

The colors are Crushed Curry and the DS Paper is from the Sweet Pea paper pack in the mini on page 33-$19.95. I stamped the image with white craft ink, and then heat sealed it. I went back and used my watercolor pencils to color in the images, including the white- which I then smeared a bit to give it somewhat of a chalky look (is that a word??). The punches are the modern label punch layered with the word punch in black.
Thanks for stopping by!! :>

Awash With Flowers

This is a card I did a few days ago- it's a new set that will be coming out in the new summer Catalog called "Awash with Flowers".

Check out my Hair bows, they are also located under "items for sale", I'll be putting more out in the next day or two.

I thought I would also post some pictures of my daughter and my niece at the table making cards- I'm starting them young :> they both are 4........

This is Madison my 4 year old.... (who rarely combs her hair unless absolutely necessary!)

This is Olivia my niece who just turned 4 this past Sunday.

And here they both are...........making a mess!!
Have a great day!

Two Cards today- WOW- I had to CASE this one from Rachel I loved her card, but instead I used bordering Blue instead of pretty in pink like she used. I also spritzed it using the shimmer paint, but you can't see it in the picture- but trust me it's nice and shimmery :> The Stamp set is called "Inspired by Nature", I haven't pulled this one out for sometime, but I'm glad I did...
\

The second card is called "Herb Expression" this was the first time I pulled this one out, I think I like it :>- the ribbon was died (sponged) with Elegant Eggplant, since Stampin Up! doesn't currently have any purple satin ribbon, I had to make my own.

And see no Birthday cards today!! Tomorrow I'll post some Hair Bows that I have been making from Stampin Up! Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by!!

My Card today is yet another birthday card- I know surprise!! This one is for my niece who lives in Oregon- :>

The set I used is the Animal Crackers set on page 62 of the IBC and it's 19.95. I used the Sweet Pea DS Paper that's in the mini catalog on page 33. The leaves were cut from the Big shot using the Little Leaves die which can be found on page 196 of the IBC for $5.50. The ribbon is the Vanilla taffetta that I sponged Creamy Carmel on.

Have a great day!

And yet another Birthday....

There's always a Birthday in my family..... This one is for my niece who is turning 4 this Sunday. I don't have any princess sets, so while I was looking for a set to use I found the Bitty Birthday set that I hadn't even mounted yet...So I pulled it out, and off I went. The Bitty Birthday set can be found on page 68 of the IBC for just $12.95.
I knew she liked pink, so Rose Red and Regal Rose were the combination that I used, along with the DS paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog which is called Welcome Neighbor which you can get for free if you spend $50.00.
Tell me what you think:

I couldn't decide which way to do the card, or how to use the Rhinestone brads, so I did two and did them differently. I think I like the first one better....
Tomorrow I will post yet another Birthday card for my dear niece who moved to Oregon- I sure do miss her!!!!

Black Magic

I saw this technique on Karen Barbers Blog and just had to try it. Its the first attempt so not the best, so I'll have to keep trying it :> The Stamp set I used was Thoughts and Prayers and the sentiment is from the Heard from the Heart set. Kraft paper was used for the base of the card, with Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise for the ribbon.

Have a great day!
